New Delhi, March 24 (IANS) Jet Airways on Thursday said it has started the process of flying its aircraft out of Brussels as part of the recovery operations after bomb blasts rocked the Belgian capital's Zaventem airport on Tuesday.
"Jet Airways will fly three recovery flights from Amsterdam for Delhi, Mumbai and Toronto to transfer all its guests and crew," a spokesperson of the airline said.
The airline said it has already relocated its guests and crew from Brussels to Amsterdam by road on Wednesday.
The Brussels airport continues to be closed for operations, except ferry flights, a statement said.
The airline said the first aircraft landed in Amsterdam at 1200 hours from Brussels as a ferry flight.
Jet Airways had said it was working closely with the Belgian authorities and the Indian Embassy to facilitate an early transit for its guest and crew from Brussels.
