Tollywood director Mohanty Padma Rao alias PK was arrested by Panjagutta police yesterday, for allegedly forging the signatures of a producer.
The director, who is working in the industry since the last twenty years, forged the signatures of producer Jana Ramarao and has sold the rights of a film to Pradeep Chowdary, without his consent. According to the reports, Padma Rao started a movie titled Ammayilu Take Care in the production of Jana Ramarao, and it is currently in the post-production stage.
Apparently, the director, who turned into a fraud forging the signatures of Jana Ramarao, sold the movie on the profit-sharing basis, after changing the movie name to Vadu Veedu Kalpana, as got greedy for money.
