Abuja, March 22 (IANS) Government forces in Nigeria have killed 58 Boko Haram fighters in the latest military operation in the country, Nigerian Army spokesman Sani Usman said on Tuesday.
Two hand grenades, 52 motorcycles, several bags of foodstuff were also recovered during the operation carried out by troops in Nigeria's northeast Borno State late Monday, said Usman, adding that the military also lost a soldier in the gunfight, Xinhua reported.
