World T20: India restrict Pakistan for 118/5 at Eden

Kolkata, March 19 (IANS) Pakistan were restricted to a modest 118/5 by India on a turning wicket in their rain-curtailed World Twenty20 Group 2 encounter at the Eden Gardens here on Saturday.

Put in to bat first after the match was reduced to 18 overs a side, Pakistan reached 118/5 with Shoaib Malik (26) being the top scorer.

For India, spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja returned economical figures of 0/12 and 1/20 respectively.
