The Gollapudi Srinivas National Award for the Best Debut director 2015 has been given to director Jayaprakash. He got this award for the English feature film Lens. Gollapudi Maruthi Rao announced the winner.
Gollapudi Srinivas award was constituted by veteran actor Gollapudi Maruthi Rao as a memory to his son Srinivas who died accidentally while making a film. The awards are given to debut director and it was first announced in 1997.
