New Delhi, March 17 (IANS) It was a sunny morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 16.8 degrees Celsius, zero notch above the season's average (16.5 degree Celsius is the season's average), the weather office said.
"The sky would remain partly cloudy with rain/thunderstorm likely to occur towards Friday night and early morning. Mist/haze most likely to occur on Friday morning," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
According to the Met office, maximum temperature is likely to hover around 31 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 74 percent while the visibility at the same time stood at 2,500 metres.
Wednesday's maximum temperature settled at 29.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, while the minimum temperature was 15.6 degrees Celsius, zero notch above the season's average.
