New Delhi, March 17 (IANS) "Allegiant", the third instalment in "The Divergent Series" will release pan India on April 1 -- but the end of the trilogy has been split into two parts.
The twist is that this third instalment will be split into two parts, where the first part will end with a cliffhanger, leaving the audience asking for more; and the second part of the film will be the fourth and final instalment, read a statement from PVR Pictures, which is distributing and marketing the movie in India.
It is directed by Robert Schwentke, who helmed "Insurgent".
"Allegiant" spans the journey of the story after the earth-shattering revelations of "Insurgent", with how Tris (Shailene Woodley) must now escape with Four (Theo James) beyond the wall that encircles Chicago to finally discover the shocking truth of what lies behind it.
The film also includes Naomi Watts, Octavia Spencer, Jeff Daniels among many others as part of the key cast members.
