Prabhas’ brother Prabodh got a one-year jail sentence after he found guilty in a cheque bounce case. Prabodh gave a cheque of Rs.43 Lakhs to a Secunderabad-based businessman. The Cheque got bounced due to lack of funds. The businessman subsequently filed a case on Prabodh.
The Rajendranagar magistrate court delivered the verdict in this case on Tuesday. Prabodh was given one-year imprisonment and the court ordered him to pay Rs.80 Lakh to the businessman within two months of the judgement. This would be a black mark on the family reputation. More than the fine, the jail term will hurt them the most.
Prabodh is the elder brother of Prabhas.
