Venice, March 16 (IANS/AKI) A teacher has been sacked from a technical high school in Italy for sending sexually explicit text messages to pupils, a media report said.
The headmistress of the Musatti high school in Dolo near Venice called police after pupils showed the text messages to other teachers, news website CorriereAdriatico.it reported.
Meanwhile, a 60-year-old nursery teacher was suspended for five months from a kindergarten in Vicenza city for bullying pre-schoolers aged three to five.
The woman's "constantly authoritarian and violent behaviour" towards her charges included spitting in one boy's face "to teach him", causing him "prolonged, acute distress", according to police.
