Bengaluru, March 15 (IANS) Kannada film actress Radhika Pandit, along with aesthetic physician Rashmi Shetty, on Tuesday vouched for shaving as the best, hassle free and painless hair removal method for women.
They came together at a panel discussion by Gillette Venus, to educate women on shaving and debunk myths that surround shaving.
Radhika revealed her beauty secrets and inspired women to enjoy the freedom of choice with the convenience of grooming products.
"I thoroughly believe that shaving is the best way of hair removal. Women simply need to know the right technique of shaving to get the best results," the actress said, adding that she finds Gillette Venus products "skin-friendly and suited to every woman's needs.
Shetty also stressed that "shaving is actually one of the widely recommended methods of hair removal for women".
"The belief that shaving leads to darker skin or thicker hair growth is completely false. Hair growth is determined by the genetic and hormonal makeup of a person and has nothing to do with the hair removal method you adopt," she said.
The idea behind the panel discussion was to educate women on hair removal, debunk the myths that exist around shaving and inspire them to choose a safe solution for their beauty regime, said Karthik Srivatsan, country marketing manager, Gillette India.
