Nagarjuna, Karthi, Thamannah’s Multistarrer Oopiri is slated to release worldwide in Telugu and Tamil on March 25th.Vamshi Paidipally directed this film while Potluri V Prasad produced it under his banner PVP cinema. Music by Gopi Sunder is well received in both states. Heroine Thamannah shared her thoughts with media about her character in Oopiri.
Thamannah says,’My character’s name is Keerthi in Oopiri. As Keerthi is a PA to a billionaire, she is a strong woman who is well educated and responsible. This in not a complete remake of the French film The Intouchables. A lot of changes has been made according to our audience. I dubbed for my character for the first time in Telugu. Doing a character like Vikram Aditya is really tough and Nagarjuna excelled in that role. It’s not an easy task to perform only with expressions without moving. He took up that role as a challenge and will inspire many others with his performance in this film’.
Speaking about Baahubali-2, Thamannah says that her character will be limited in the sequel and she doesn’t even bother about the length of the character in such a film like Baahubali. She also says that she is currently doing Dharma Durai with Vijay Sethupathi in Tamil and a bi-lingual with Prabhudeva.
