My sexuality is no big deal: Jess Glynne

Los Angeles, March 15 (IANS) Singer Jess Glynne insists her sexuality is no "big thing" as her family and friends are "cool" with her dating men or women.

The 26-year-old singer has had relationships with men and women and came out as bisexual last year when she revealed a failed lesbian relationship was the inspiration for many of the songs on her debut album “I Cry When I Laugh”.

However, Glynne doesn't want a label to be put on her sexuality and insists people shouldn't care what is happening in her private life, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

In an interview with Fabulous magazine, she said: "For me it's not even a thing, I just get on with it and I am what I am and I just don't think it's a big thing.

"I think the more you make of something, the more it becomes a thing and these days, people don't really care. I don't see why they should care. My family and my friends are all really cool and I never have to justify who I am to anybody.

"I'm content with whoever it is that I choose to be with. Be that a man or a woman. Whatever. That's exactly how my family and friends take anything, that's how they are. So we're all the same."
