Barcelona, March 14 (IANS) European champions FC Barcelona on Monday held their first training session in preparation for the second leg against English club Arsenal in the knockout stage of the Champions League.
Barcelona will host Arsenal on Wednesday at Camp Nou stadium having won the first leg at London 2-0.
After a thrashing 6-0 victory against Getafe in La Liga last Saturday, coach Luis Enrique gave his group a day off on Sunday, reports Efe.
Barcelona returned back to workouts on Monday with all available players, except for the injured Sandro Ramirez.
Currently, Barcelona is leading La Liga with 75 points, eight points ahead of Atletico Madrid in second place.
The team will resume training on Tuesday to ensure its qualification to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
