London, Mar 13 (PTI) Actress Naomi Watts says her "high-pressure job" can affect her relationship with her partner of 11 years, Liev Schreiber, from time to time.
The "Allegiant" star added relationships are tough to maintain whether the people involved are celebrities or not, reported Female First.
"Relationships are hard whether you're famous or not. I don't know anyone who doesn't have to work on it. Being an actor doesn't change anything.
"I'm sure it's the same if you're a doctor or a couple of lawyers. You have high-pressure jobs, lots of hours, stresses that come at you unexpectedly - and you have to figure out how to be present in the midst of it all."
The 47-year-old actress tries to make things as "normal" as possible for their two children - Samuel, seven and Alexander, eight.
"Certainly there are things in my life that reflect the fact I've become successful in this industry, I've earned a certain amount of money, but it's not all like that.
"We struggled to create that balance but, knock on wood, it's been OK so far. I try to be the 'normal mum', it's just who I am. It wouldn't be normal for me to operate quote-un-quote like a 'just a movie star.
