New Delhi, March 12 (IANS) Delhi experienced light rains on Saturday morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 18.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
An official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the city received 9.1 mm rainfall by 8.30 a.m.
The Met department forecast a spell of hail, rains and thundershowers on Saturday afternoon.
According to the official, the maximum temperature was likely to hover around 29 degree Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 96 percent, the weather office said.
Friday's minimum temperature was recorded at 19 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average while the maximum temperature settled at 33.5 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
