New Delhi, March 12 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Bihar later on Saturday to attend the closing ceremony of the Patna High Court centenary celebrations and address public meeting at Chhaukia in Hajipur.

The prime minister, during the day-long event, will also open two newly erected rail-cum-road bridges in Patna and Munger, besides laying the foundation for an additional rail bridge across the Ganga at Mokama, officials said.

The event to mark the Patna High Court centenary includes a 20-minute laser show to detail its history and another documentary film that will trace the court's journey, along with some old pictures and archival material.

President Pranab Mukherjee had opened the centenary celebrations in April last year.
