Islamabad, March 10 (IANS) Pakistan will not participate in the ongoing World T20 tournament until the Indian government assures "foolproof security" for the men's and women's national teams, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar said on Thursday.
"Pakistan will not go to India until foolproof security assurance from India (is provided)," the minister said, adding that "if (security is) not assured, then team would not participate in the mega tournament".
"There are threats to the Pakistan team in India ... (with) groups threatening to disrupt Pakistan's match. How can we play in such situation," Chaudhry Nisar asked.
