New Delhi, March 10 (IANS) Building on its existing portfolio of T-Series smartphones, Panasonic India on Thursday launched T50 model enabled with the company's exclusive in-house SAIL user interface for Rs.4,990.
Established on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) operating system, the SAIL UI is a fluid platform that enables users to seamlessly switch between multiple apps, organise apps by genre and control onscreen operations with gestures.
Advanced launcher settings like "Batch Arranging" helps consolidate multiple apps into batches like genre and frequency of use, allows the user to create personalised headers for app management.
"Our latest introduction in the Indian market comes with Panasonic's in-house software, the SAIL user interface. The UI is even integrated into a specialised SAIL camera. It is an app-driven smartphone that offers multi-app smoothness for a flawless user experience in a handheld device," Pankaj Rana, business head, mobility division, Panasonic India, said in a statement.
It has a 4.5-inch HD IPS display accompanied by a 5-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front facing shooter.
With nine beauty camera modes, the SAIL camera offers a plethora of photography options for different scenarios, including pose mode, child mode and watermark.
T50 has a 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor and comes loaded with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory, which is expandable up to 32GB. The 3G-enabled, dual SIM device runs on a 1,600mAH battery.
The smartphone is available in rose gold, champagne gold, and midnight blue colours.
