New York, Mar 11 (PTI) Backstreet Boys star Brian Littrell has revealed he is developing a musical based on the boyband's journey to fame.
Brian said he has been secretly working on a musical for years, reported Broadway.com.
"I've been working on a Backstreet Boys Broadway show for four years now," Brian said.
"We can't talk about it! It doesn't have a name yet. It's based on the story of our lives - growing up, achieving what we did as a unit, but going through great times, downfalls and struggles, because it's not easy."
The pop star added that he was aiming to create a show similar to Cirque Du Soleil and The Four Seasons' musical, Jersey Boys.
The Backstreet Boys, who formed in 1993, released their first feature documentary, "Backstreet Boys: Show 'Em What You're Made Of", in January last year.
Filmed over a period of two years, the movie follows the members as they revisit their humble beginnings, discuss the downside of fame and the future of their career, as they recorded their most recent album, "In A World Like This.
