Lucknow, March 7 (IANS) A policeman was killed when a stray bullet hit him during the wedding of his daughter in Mainpuri district in Uttar Pradesh, police said on Monday.
The deceased, 50-year-old Rajendra Singh, was posted in Budaun district, said a senior police officer of Bhogaon police station.
Police said it was yet to be ascertained who fired the bullet that killed the policeman late Sunday night.
The body has been sent for post-mortem.
