Hema Malini gets Nano for her Vrindavan rides

Mathura, March 6 (IANS) Actress-politician Hema Malini has bought a Nano car, and hopes she gets to drive it herself.

Bollywood's 'Dreamgirl' Hema, who is also the MP from Mathura, has bought the ride for political work

 

She tweeted: "In the Nano I have bought to use in Vrindavan. Hope I am able to drive it myself there!".

She picked jazzy purple colour for the car, and shared a string of images on the social media platform.

The veteran star has lent her voice for singer-composer Kailash Kher's new album "Ishq Anokha".

45 years of 'Anand', Big B remembers Rajesh Khanna

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan looked back in time and reminisced about the journey of his film "Anand", in which he featured along side Rajesh Khanna and Sumita Sanyal, 45 years ago.

He said that the 1971 film reflected upon the "glory of the superstar Rajesh Khanna". The film, which narrated story of a terminally ill man, who wishes to live life to the full before he dies, as told by his best friend, clocked 45 years of its existence on March 5.

He tweeted: "Its 45 years of 'Anand'! Amazement to be in it... in the reflected glory of the superstar Rajesh Khanna."

The "Paa" star also took to his blog to express his views. He posted: "And 45 years of 'Anand’! An incredible journey... A journey of finding self, of finding others, of learning craft, of witnessing the tornado’s of adulation for your co star, of anxious waiting for the result... Of that midnight meeting in the middle of the road on release and Gulzar’s words of encouragement... So much has passed and so many have gone by."

Lauren high on Vitamin C!

Dancer-actress Lauren Gottlieb says she has been taking doses of Vitamic C as she is under the weather.

"Third day not feeling well. Really over this cold? I've taken so much Vitamin C, I think I'm gonna turn orange," Lauren quipped on Twitter.

She is using her 'sick' time to catch up on Hindi movies.

"Ok so tell me, while I'm sick in bed today I want to watch a couple old super hot Bollywood movies... Any suggestions," she asked Twitterati.

She settled on "Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!" and "Devdas".

"Why? Because Madhuri Dixit is queen," she added.
