New Delhi, March 5 (IANS) It was a cloudy day here on Saturday with light rainfall experienced in some parts of the national capital. The maximum temperature was, however, recorded at 30.1 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, the weather office said.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that Sunday would remain partly cloudy and light rainfall is likely to occur towards morning or afternoon.
Sunday's maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 29 degrees and 16 degree Celsius, respectively.
Saturday morning was clear and warm, with the minimum temperature settling at 18.3 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average, the weather office said.
Friday's maximum temperature was recorded at 34.1 degrees Celsius, seven notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 17.6 degrees Celsius, five notches above the average for this time of the season.
