Los Angeles, March 5 (IANS) Producer and actor John Stamos says Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who were in the original Full House, are "totally welcome" to join the second season of "Fuller House".
Stamos sat down with the "Today" show on Thursday, where he said that he has a "good feeling" about the possibility of their participation, reports etonline.com.
"I was going to see Ashley last night and beg her to be on the show," the 53-year-old star shared. "We would love to have them. I know everyone would love to see them."
The twin sisters, who collectively played toddler Michelle Tanner on the original "Full House", declined to reprise their role for the reboot.
Stamos also opened up about the reboot's success among fans, and its almost immediate renewal, explaining that he was "nervous" while shooting the series.
"I was worried because the anticipation really built up from the time we finished to the time we aired," Stamos explained.
"(But) people are happy with it. It's so sweet. I'm very grateful."
