The secret is to be humble, says Barcelona midfielder Iniesta

Barcelona, March 2 (IANS) Barcelona's midfield talisman Andres Iniesta thinks it is feasible for the Catalan football giants to win a new treble but warned that there are dangerous rivals and noted that "the secret is to be humble and know that any game can be lost".

In an interview with Dentix on Tuesday, Iniesta, the star of the new advertising campaign for the dental company, said Barcelona have shown six years ago they can win a treble (La Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League), which seemed impossible, but it was done again last season, reports Efe.

"There are teams like Madrid that are always dangerous," the 31-year-old said.

"They are always great teams fighting for titles. We have to try to win these titles. The secret is to be humble and know that any game can be lost," the 2010 FIFA World Cup winner added.

When asked about Vicente del Bosque, Spain's coach, Iniesta said that "combining the sports part with the human part is essential and Vicente gets it" and understands the role of Spain as "favourites" in the European Championship next summer in France.

Regarding his future plans, Iniesta wants to "keep winning" in his current club and "does not expect" a call from coach Pep Guardiola for his new team in Manchester City.
