Seoul, March 3 (IANS) North Korea on Thursday fired several short-range projectiles into its eastern waters.
South Korean Defence Ministry spokesman Moon Sang-Kyun said that the projectiles were fired at 10.00 a.m. from North Korea's Wonsan area into the East Sea, Xinhua news agency reported.
However, the whether the projectiles were short-range missiles or artillery shells is yet to be identified, the spokesman added.
