Los Angeles, Feb 27 (PTI) Pamela Anderson has turned down the opportunity to return to the "Baywatch" movie.
The actress, 48, who became the break-out star of the TV series in the late 1980s, has revealed she was offered a role in the revamp, which features Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Indian actress Priyanka Chopra and Zac Efron, but didn't like the storyline.
Anderson said she's still considering a cameo, but it will have to be different than the part she was initially given.
"I haven't turned it down completely yet, but I have turned down what they offered me. We'll see what happens.
"Baywatch was such a huge part of my life and really they're trying to do an homage and, you know, it's an honour to have them want me to be a part of it so bad."
But Anderson insists she can't give any secrets away about the film, adding, "I haven't even read the script. I have no idea what it's about."
It's not yet clear if any of the other members of the TV cast, which also included David Hasselhoff, Gena Lee Nolin and Alexandra Paul, will be part of the film reboot.
