Gurgaon, Feb 24 (IANS) An officer of the Haryana food and supply department was on Wednesday arrested while accepting Rs.10,000 as bribe from a ration depot holder, an official said.
A team of Haryana State Vigilance Bureau arrested Inspector Ved Singh, posted in Sohna.
Acting on the complaint of depot holder Rajender Singh, a team headed by Deputy Superintendent of Police Virander Singh caught Ved Singh red handed at his office. He will be produced before a court on Thursday.
