Mumbai, Feb 24 (IANS) The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday opened on a negative note during the morning session of the trade.
The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 23,332.94 points touched a high of 23,338.99 points and a low of 23,241.56 points.
On Tuesday the Sensex closed at 23,410.18 points.
The Sensex is trading at 23,244.87 points down by 165.31 points, or 0.75 percent.
The broader 50-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 7,075 points after closing at 7,109.55 points on Tuesday.
The Nifty is trading at 7,067.80 points in the morning.
