New Delhi, Feb 21 (IANS) BJP president Amit Shah on Sunday constituted a committee led by Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu to look into the issue of reservation for the Jat community.
A Bharatiya Janata Party release said the five-member committee includes party vice presidents Satpal Malik and Avinash Rai Khanna, Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma and Minister of State for Agriculture Sanjeev Balyan.
The committee, which comes into effect immediately, will look into various aspects concerning the issue of reservation for Jats and listen to all sides.
It will give its report to Shah and the central government at the earliest, the release said.
