Ahmedabad, Feb 19 (IANS) Pakistan's marine security agency captured at least seven Indian fishing boats and 40 fishermen off Gujarat's Jakhau port in the Arabian Sea.
National Fish Workers' Forum secretary Manish Lodhari said of the seven boats captured late on Thursday night, six are from the Okha port and one from Porbandar. He apprehended that many more boats might have been captured than reported so far.
Pakistan marines had captured two Indian fishing boats and 12 fishermen on January 7, half a dozen boats and over 50 fishermen on January 25, 10 boats and 68 fishermen on December 20 and over a dozen boats and 60 fishermen in October last.
