London, Feb 20 (PTI) Veteran music composer Ennio Morricone says he will be collaborating with filmmaker Quentin Tarantino on another project.
The 87-year-old musician, who came out of semi-retirement for the Oscar-nominated score of Tarantino's "The Hateful Eight," said he has already discussed the next project, reported Digital Spy.
"Tarantino has already told me that there will be a next movie that we are going to make together. I told him that in the future I would like to have much more time.
"I would like to start working with him even long before in order to have the time to work, to think about the music, and also to exchange more ideas with him about what I am going to score for him," Morricone said.
Morricone is nominated against Thomas Newman ('Bridge of Spies'), Carter Burwell ('Carol'), Johann Johannsson ('Sicario') and John Williams ('Star Wars: The Force Awakens') in the best original score category.
"The Hateful Eight" was his first Western work in 35 years.
