New Delhi, Feb 18 (IANS) Chinese internet conglomerate LeEco says it will come out with another flash sale on February 25 for its Le 1s smartphone, which has elicited a strong response from buyers.
LeEco said in a press release that it had received a total of 20,28,000 registrations in its three flash sale on Flipkart earlier this month. It said it was celebrating "LeEco Day" in India on February 25 enabling users to buy Le 1s on Flipkart without registration.
The phone is priced at Rs 10,999. The latest sale includes Rs.8 crore worth of prizes.
"We are humbled by the consumers' response to our 'superphones' in the flash sales. We are confident that this innovative shopping carnival will witness unprecedented popularity among consumers," Atul Jain, COO, smart electronics business, LeEco India said in a statement.
The phone has a fingerprint scanner and includes most of the standard features of a smartphone.
Globally, LeEco's online sales from its annual 'Fans Festival' topped $270 million.
