Islamabad, Feb 17 (IANS) A bomb hoax at the Karachi University caused panic on Wednesday, leading to its evacuation, Dawn reported. Police found no bomb or explosive.
The police came to know that three bombs were placed in the campus premises after which the bomb disposal squad was called, Superintendent of Police Gulshan Farhad Ahmad said.
After the attack on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Bacha Khan University on January 13, educational institutions in Pakistan have been on high alert.
The university has more than 27,000 students and over 4,000 teaching and non-teaching staff.
