This will be the first full-length album of the 36-year-old country artist since his 2008 debut "Starting Now," reported People magazine.
"This has been a long time coming. It's a new beginning and I'm champing at the bit to get this record out. When I made my first record, I had no idea what I was doing.
"I was just happy to have a record deal and that people were hearing songs on the radio. Now I'm not green anymore. I know exactly what I want to say and how I want to say it," Wicks said.
The new album will release on February 26 and the singer said it is "probably the most progressive thing I've ever released."
"This is the music that I believe I was meant to make," he added.
