Los Angeles, Feb 8 (PTI) "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" actress Bella Heathcote will play one of Christian Grey's former lovers in the upcoming sequel to "Fifty Shades of Grey".
The 28-year-old "Dark Shadows" actress will play Leila, a woman who had been in a relationship with Jamie Dornan's Grey, who is scarred both emotionally and psychically, said The Hollywood Reporter.
This casting follows the announcement that Kim Basinger will play Grey's Mrs Robinson-esque first lover.
James Foley is set to direct the next two installments of the EL James adaptation "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" from screenplays by Niall Leonard.
The first film in the franchise, "Fifty Shades of Grey" reportedly grossed USD 560 million worldwide.
