New Delhi, Feb 6 (IANS) Delhi's ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday said it has received 10 lakh calls with an opinion about the implementation of the second phase of the odd-even car restriction scheme in the national capital.

AAP legislators also began a two-day exercise to ascertain the views of the public on whether the odd-even plan for vehicles should be brought back.

The Delhi government is conducting a two-day exercise on February 6 and 7, which is being co-ordinated by concerned sub-divisional magistrate and legislators.

"We have received 10,00,000 calls regarding people's opinion on the odd-even scheme. Among 10 lakh calls, 45,000 were missed calls," said AAP spokesperson Nagendar Sharma.

Sharma added that 10,000 forms have been downloaded and 9,000 emails have been received regarding public opinion on the plan and the data will be complied on February 8.

Under the odd-even scheme enforced in Delhi on a pilot basis for a fortnight from January 1, four-wheelers with odd registration numbers plied on odd dates and even numbered vehicles on even dates.
