Jaipur, Jan 27 (IANS) No candidate wearing ear tops, rings, necklaces or pendants will be allowed to appear in an exam for teachers' recruitment in Rajasthan, officials said on Wednesday.
The decision was taken by the Board of Secondary Education to curb the possibility of cheating in the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) to be held on February 7.
Over 8.75 lakh candidates have applied for the examination for 15,000 vacancies for third-grade teachers posts.
"Directions have been issued that candidates should not be allowed to wear ear rings or tops, rings and necklaces or any kind of chain with or without a pendant while giving examination, an official said.
