London, Jan 23 (PTI) Liam Hemsworth's family may have been hesitant about the actor marrying Miley Cyrus in the past, but now they are reportedly happy about the impending nuptials.
The Australian actor popped the question to singer Miley in June 2012, but the pair split in September 2013.
They have recently rekindled their relationship and the engagement is back on, who said the 23-year-old's recent trip to stay with Liam Down Under over Christmas helped change his relatives' opinions of her, reported Femalefirst.
"Miley wants to get married. His family was very hesitant about a marriage in the past, but they really got to know Miley better when she spent time in Australia a few weeks ago.
Everyone seems excited that they are back together," a source said.
The Hemsworths' change in opinion could be down to the fact that Miley has been "making changes for their relationship to work", and is "much more mature" than when she was first set to wed the 26-year-old actor.
Miley has once again been seen wearing the Neil Lane diamond ring Liam gave her when they first got engaged.
Neither Miley nor Liam have commented on the fact they are back together, with both said to be determined to keep their romance more private this time around.
