‘Saala Khadoos’ to Be Specially Screened for Female Indian Boxers

Mumbai, Jan 18 (IANS) The makers of the forthcoming sports drama film Saala Khadoos, starring R. Madhavan and boxer Ritika Singh, have planned to host a special screening for Indian women boxers here.

Ritika, who is a boxer in real life, will be inviting her friends for the screening of Saala Khadoos which is the second production of filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani.

As the movie revolves around boxing, the makers have decided to organise a special screening for boxers across India. Also, Ritika will be inviting her friends who are boxers for the screening, said the film's spokesperson.

The screening will take place in the week when the film will release. It is slated to hit the screens on January 29.

Directed by Sudha Kongara, Saala Khadoos is about a rustic fisherwoman, played by Ritika who Madhavan's character, a boxing coach, grooms into a match-winning boxer.
