Bryan Cranston Joins James Franco’s ‘The Disaster Artist’

Los Angeles, Jan 17 (PTI) Actor Bryan Cranston has joined the stellar cast of James Franco's "The Disaster Artist".

The movie tells the story of what's tapped as the best worst movie ever made, 2003's "The Room," reported Aceshowbiz.

Details regarding 59-year-old "Trumbo" star's character are not revealed yet.

The movie is based on a book titled "The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside the Room" written by Greg Sestero, who starred in the film.

Directed by Tommy Wiseau, the 2003 movie went on to become a cult classic because of its unusual storytelling, acting and production values.

In "Disaster Artist", Franco will play the infamous filmmaker alongside his brother Dave Franco as well as Kate Upton, Sharon Stone, Alison Brie, Zac Efron and Josh Hutcherson.
