The story of Nannaku Prematho is being circulated online, even before its release.
Abhiram(NTR), a London-based NRI, who is in Spain for an office work, gets to know that his father is admitted in a hospital back in India, due to ill-health. As he rushes back to see his father, he learns that, Krishnamurthy(Jagapathi Babu), who is a close friend of his father had cheated him for money, in the past. Abhiram realizes that his father has only a few days left and takes an oath to bring Krishnamurthy down and strip him off his wealth.
He heads back to London in search of Krishnamurthy and that's when he traps his daughter, Divyanka(Rakul) by faking love. Krishnamurthy gets to know about Abhiram and how he has moved pawns to bring his business down, by using Divyanka. An interesting mind game between Abhi and Krishnamurthy leads to a striking interval bang.
The rest of the story deals with how NTR makes Jagapathi Babu go bankrupt and makes him admit cheating Rajendra Prasad, in front of the international media. Abhiram's father sees his son win over Krishnamurthy on Television and the film ends on an emotional, yet happy note.
