The film has got good response among the audience with many claiming it to be the best RGV film post 26/11. It has even got fairly good opening thanks to the curiosity generated on the title. Killing Veerappan released after a slight delay in Telugu states today. It is already a big success in Karnataka where it released in the Kannada language for New Year.
