Los Angeles, Jan 8 (PTI) Amy Schumer and her boyfriend Ben Hanisch met through a dating app and the comedy star was the first on to make a movie.
The couple, who have been sharing pictures on social media, first came across each other on dating app Bumble, reported E! online.
According to the sources Ben created the Bumble account in early 2015.
The mobile phone matchmaker allows the women to always make the first move. If she does not respond to a new connection within 24 hours, that connection disappears forever and in this case "Trainwreck" star's quick response made her meet the man of her dreams.
Ben, the former design consultant for HGTV is now based in in Chicago and working as a furniture designer.
"He designs really cool, unique stuff. His pieces are very high quality. He is a super nice, chill guy, who is very down-to-earth," the source said.
