London, Jan 1 (PTI) Dave Grohl is honouring the life and legacy of Motorhead's Lemmy Kilmister with the ultimate rock tribute a tattoo.
A Las Vegas tattooist revealed on Instagram that Grohl dropped in to have his left arm marked with the ace of spaces a tribute to Motorhead's classic song, reported Digital Spy.
Grohl and his band Foo Fighters were among the many rock luminaries to mark the passing of the Motorhead frontman on Twitter earlier this week.
"We've lost a friend & legend. My heart is broken. RIP Lemmy. Born To Lose, Lived To Win," Foo Fighters tweeted.
Lemmy passed away only two days after learning that he'd been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.
In the wake of his death, Motorhead have confirmed that they will be calling it quits after 40 years as one of heavy metal's most important bands.
