Hyderabad, Dec 30 (PTI) Union Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao would lay the foundation stone for expansion of a National Highway (NH) at Warangal on January 4.
The NH 163 would be expanded to four lanes in about 99 kms, as per a release issued by State Roads and Buildings Minister T Nageswara Rao.
Gadkari and Rao would also inaugurate a major bridge built in Warangal district, the minister was quoted as saying in a separate release.
The bridge on Godavari river was completed at a cost of Rs 340 crore provided under the Centre's development scheme for Left Wing Extremism-effected areas, it said.
