Vagator, Dec 30 (IANS) Taking the audience by storm, Dutch DJ Martin Garrix headlined Sunburn festival's third day in Goa on Tuesday and kept the electronic music grooving here.
Known for his tracks "Animals" and "Tremors", the 19-year-old teenager spell bounded the music lovers present at the venue.
Day 3 of the four-day festival, which kickstarted on December 27, saw Mumbai's underground artist Ankur Sood play first followed by Indian DJ Nucleya.
The audience was wrapped in a haze of techno and high energy progressive as Nucleya performed bass heavy beats and electronica anthems like "Akkad Bakkad" mixing south Indian folk music with western beats. Nucleya opened for Skrillex's set earlier this year in October.
Garrix took over the Main Stage and started with his hits, including "Tremors" leaving the audience in a frenzy.
The fans stomped, raised hands and made the trademark dance music sign of heart shape for Garrix including putting all their camera lights on at one go for him.
The 19-year-old wrapped up his set with beautiful remix of singer Adele's "Hello".
Ending with an energised "shukriya" to all his fans, there were fireworks, pyros and confetti adding drama to the night where the a huge crowd left little space to move.
The teenage superstar came to the fore in 2013 with his song "Animals" -- a breakout anthem for the EDM generation which topped the download charts that year.
Other artists on the line-up included Aly and Fila, Bassjackers, Aneyelator, Nelio, DJ Dee, Squidworks, Clement and Seth Troxler.
