London, Dec 28 (PTI) A historic Scottish estate, once owned by rocker Jimmy Page, has been wrecked by a devastating fire.
The 71-year-old Led Zeppelin star bought Boleskine House near Loch Ness in 1970 and even shot scenes for the band's 1976 concert film, The Song Remains the Same, at the property, but he reportedly only spent a total of six weeks there himself before offloading it in 1992.
The building went up in flames on Dec 23 and the cause has yet to be determined, reported Contactmusic.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said, "A large part of the property has been destroyed by fire... We understand the building was empty at the time of the call and nobody had to be evacuated."
Boleskine House was also once home to occultist Aleister Crowley, who Page is known to have had a fascination with.
