Los Angeles, Dec 14 (IANS) Actress Constance Zimmer, who plays Quinn King in TV show “UnREAL”, says she finds it difficult to be herself while facing the cameras.
The actress shared this bit of information during a discussion with a group of people, who take the reality TV show route to fetch fame.
“I find it super depressing. To be honest, because that is not why I am an actress. I am not an actress to be famous, I do it because I love it, because it is my job, because I love being different characters and all. And they’re being themselves.
"That makes me horribly uncomfortable. I could not be myself on television,” Zimmer was quoted as saying in a statement, issued by Star World.
In the series, the “Entourage” actress' role is that of a demanding executive producer who pushes boundaries on the show to maximize ratings.
“UnREAL” is based on what goes behind the scenes during the making of a reality show. Here, the story revolves around a (fictional) dating reality show called "Everlasting".
Actors like Shiri Appleby, Freddie Stroma and Josh Kelly are also a part of "UnREAL".
