The People's Capital, #Amaravati, which has been chosen under the National Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana (HRIDAY) as well as the Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spirituality Augmentation Drive (PRASAD) scheme will soon be witnessing works in this direction.
The Pylon for both the projects has been inaugurated today by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Union Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu and Union Minister of State for Culture (Independent Charge) Mahesh Sharma.
The spiritual and ancient town of Amaravati will be developed in tourism and spiritual sectors as it is expected to get financial support to the tune of Rs 70 cr from the Centre under both the schemes in the coming two years.
