Evincing interest in investing in establishing power stations and other gas-based industries in the energy sector, Kuwait's Al Afroz Group Holdings has come forward to make the investments in Amaravati.
The Group's chairman Saud Al Afroz called on Chief Minister and discussed about the investment opportunities in the state. Explaining the advantages of Andhra Pradesh and the huge gas reserves the state has in KG Basin, the Chief Minister asked Mr. Afroz to set up an oil refinery in the state.
"The establishment of oil refinery in the region will provide employment to many people and also lead to development of the region, by giving a fillip to ancillary industries," the Chief Minister said.
